Advising Us of Insurance Policy Changes

If your insurance policy or carrier changes, please complete these steps as soon as possible:

1. Make sure the following Mortgagee Clause appears on your insurance policy. If it’s not there, contact your insurer and let them know.

Important: If the Mortgagee Clause doesn’t appear on your insurance policy, we won’t receive your annual policy renewal in order to pay it on time. Additionally, if there is ever damage to the property, the insurance provider needs our Mortgagee Clause information to ensure that we get the loss claim to cover the repairs.

2. Send us the Declarations Page.

Be sure to include your loan number and most up-to-date contact information.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about insurance changes. It’s important we’re kept in the loop so we can keep your escrow account up to date and use its funds on your behalf appropriately.
